September 2019
I started my business and created this website after my year abroad in Peru, at the beginning of my Junior year of university at Walla Walla University.

First Client
December 2019
My first ever client was a college friend of mine. I helped her sort and organize her room. She left me a sweet review too.
Hope Heals
January 2020 - September 2021
This was my first big client. My university hired me to help a local non-profit organize and declutter their processing center. I ended up doing all kinds of things for them, not just decluttering. But this job taught me a lot about what happens to donations, as well as gave me practice sorting large quantities of items.

I not only offer in person coaching, but also online coaching. I began working with my first virtual client helping her organize her computer and phone files in 2022.

Went Full Time

I worked part time with an (incredible) email marketing agency, Email Mavens, for 4 years until January 31, 2025. I loved working there, however it was time to go full time with Elena's Declutter!

Maternity Leave
June - October 2026
I had my beautiful Nalani in July 2026 and took my first extended time off work since going full time.
